Abraham Center's Visit to Sweden On 2002


Invitation to the first meeting in the steering committee of The Socrates project.

The invitation was send by the Nordic Folk Academy in Gothenburg Sweden from the 10th -12th of Sept.,2002

Agenda:

Intercultural dialogue and communication for adult learning.

The focus of the project:

The experiences with dialogue over cultural, political and religious borders.

The expected results of the project:

The contact which had been made between Folk Academies in Sweden, in Gaza , & Hungary and that this contact had been acquainted with E.A.E.A

( European Association for Education of Adults ) Bruscelles,Belgium.

The Delegates:

Once the workshop finished on 12th of Sept.,2002 in Sweden, the Abraham Center representative traveled to Norway and on the 13th of Sept.,2002 had an introduction meeting with Mrs. Eastern Baroun the Director of Ulpan Akiva in Natanya.

During the meeting, each part presented himself to the other. The meeting in general was fruitful and ended with a hope that understanding between the two nations reached a satisfactory point.
