Dear Samira;

Thanks for welcoming me to your center and agreeing to be a part of our documentary. I had a most educating and inspirational time at your center.

To me, you are a force of nature. I was blown away when I met you - a woman in the middle of Gaza with enough foresight over two decades ago to know that language is a bridge to most of the ills that ails us. And, you carried through your dream of teaching Palestinians the Hebrew language in Gaza. Everyone should applaud and support you because I agree with you that when we can talk and understand each other then we can sit at the table and talk matters of peace and justice.

I am immensely honored to have you as a part of our important documentary on the unique relationship between people in Gaza and in the neighboring towns and villages in Israel. Your story and journey are worth telling the whole world.

I look forward to a unique collaboration with you and visiting soon. Best,
Ose Oyamendan Producer/director Bridges Over Blood
